Munich Christmas Markets Food Tour

If you're travelling to Munich in December this year, don't miss out on their world-famous Christmas markets for a traditional festive experience. We'll enjoy a tour of their markets, making food stops along the way to discover Munich's best festive treats!

Tour Details

We'll meet at the indicated time near the Munich Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof), before setting off on our Christmas Market Food Tour. To kick off the tour, we'll enjoy gingerbread and a warm cup of mulled wine.

Along our food tour of Munich's best Christmas markets, we'll make a total of 4 food stops and 2 stops to try festive drinks. We'll taste Christmas treats such as sugared almonds, sweet chestnuts, and Feuerzangenbowle, a traditional drink.

Our first stop will be Marienplatz, Munich's central square hosting one of the city's most important Christmas markets. We will also visit the Christmas Village in the Kaiserhof der Residenz, featuring traditional wooden huts. The tour includes a visit to the Kripperlmarkt Manger Market, showcasing beautiful nativity figures and mangers.

Lastly, we'll visit the Mittelaltermarkt Munchen, Munich's medieval Christmas market, a replica of an authentic German medieval market with Renaissance dancers and musicians in medieval costumes.

After experiencing Germany's magical Christmas markets and traditional festive treats, we'll conclude the tour after a total of 3 hours.
