If you're travelling to Munich in December this year, don't miss out on their world-famous Christmas markets for a traditional festive experience. We'll enjoy a tour of their markets, making food stops along the way to discover Munich's best festive treats!

Tour Details

We'll meet near the Munich Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) at the specified time before starting our Christmas Market Food Tour. The tour begins with delicious gingerbread and a warm cup of mulled wine.

During the food tour of Munich's Christmas markets, there will be a total of 4 food stops and 2 stops for festive drinks. Participants will taste Christmas treats like sugared almonds, sweet chestnuts, and Feuerzangenbowle, a traditional drink.

The first stop will be Marienplatz, home to one of Munich's important Christmas markets. Next, we will visit the Christmas Village in the palace courtyard of the Kaiserhof der Residenz, known for its traditional wooden huts. The tour also includes a visit to the Kripperlmarkt Manger Market, featuring various nativity figures. Lastly, we will explore the Mittelaltermarkt Munchen, a medieval Christmas market showcasing Renaissance performers and merchants in period costumes.

After experiencing Germany's Christmas markets and enjoying traditional festive treats, the tour will conclude after 3 hours, filled with Christmas spirit.
