Munich Christmas Markets Food Tour

If you're travelling to Munich in December this year, experience the world-famous Christmas markets with a Christmas Market Food Tour. This tour includes food stops to discover Munich's best festive treats.

Tour Details

The meeting point is near the Munich Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof). The tour begins with gingerbread and a warm cup of mulled wine.

During the tour, we will have 4 food stops and 2 stops for festive drinks. Participants will taste Christmas treats such as sugared almonds, sweet chestnuts, and Feuerzangenbowle.

The first stop is Marienplatz, Munich's central square featuring a major Christmas market. Next, we will visit the Christmas Village at the Kaiserhof der Residenz, known for its traditional wooden huts. The tour also includes the Kripperlmarkt Manger Market, showcasing beautiful nativity figures and mangers.

Finally, we will explore the Mittelaltermarkt Munchen, a medieval Christmas market with Renaissance dancers, musicians, and stall merchants in period costumes.

The tour lasts a total of 3 hours, ending with the festive spirit of Germany's Christmas markets and delicious traditional treats.
