Working Mechanism

The Munich City Pass is available for 2, 3, or 4 consecutive days, based on your preference. For instance, if a 2-day pass is purchased on a Monday, it remains valid through Tuesday. It is advisable to activate the pass early in the day to maximize the hours of usage.

Upon completing your purchase, you will receive a voucher containing a code that allows entry to various included attractions.

Public Transport Options

When securing your pass, you can choose one that provides unlimited public transport access throughout Munich. Available options include:

Card for central zone transport: Grants unlimited travel on all public transport within the city center, specifically in zone M.Card for all zone transport: Expands travel options across the entire network, covering zones M, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. This includes trips between the city center and Munich airport, along with more remote areas like Tutzing or Herrsching.

Eligibility for Children Under 6

The Munich City Pass is not necessary for children under 6, as they can enter many attractions for free without needing the card.
