Neuschwanstein Castle Tour
We'll meet at Sonnenstraße 1 in Munich and depart for the south of Bavaria in a comfortable bus. During the two-hour trip, an English-speaking guide will share facts about the region.
Our first stop will be at Schloss Linderhof, the smallest Bavarian castle. You can enjoy a guided tour, stroll through the grounds, or have tea or coffee amidst beautiful scenery.
Next, we’ll head to Hohenschwangau, where you will have time for a meal at a restaurant and visit Neuschwanstein Castle. You'll also see Hohenschwangau Castle, the childhood home of Ludwig II of Bavaria, known as the Mad King.
You will have the option to enter Neuschwanstein Castle to view its interior decoration. While tickets are not included (37 EUR for adults, 5 EUR for children under 18), you can purchase them from your guide in cash. The castle is accessible via a short walk, horse-drawn carriage, or bus.
After an enriching 10.5 hours of exploring German history and architecture, we will return to Munich where the tour concludes.
Important
Tickets for Neuschwanstein Castle are not included in the price of the excursion. Buy them in cash from your guide on the excursion day. If you prefer not to visit the interior, you'll have free time to explore the surroundings instead.
