Birthplace of Mozart, Salzburg is a significant tourist destination in Austria. This tour also includes the Lake District and locations from "The Sound of Music."

Itinerary

The tour starts at Karlsplatz 21/Stachus, outside the Kaufhof Gallery. We will leave Munich and travel to Austria, skirting the Alps to arrive in Salzburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In Salzburg, we will visit the Mirabell palace gardens, the exterior of Mozart's birthplace, the Royal residence, and various Baroque treasures.

Following the bus tour, you will have free time to eat, explore, or visit the castle.

On the return to Munich, we will cross the lake district and stop at Wolfgangsee. You may take a cruise from St. Wolfgang, if desired.

While passing through the spots featured in "The Sound of Music", we will return to Munich by 7 PM.

Important Information

From November to December, the cruise is replaced with additional free time in Salzburg due to weather conditions. Between August and October, roadworks may extend travel time, making the cruise impractical during these months. The main goal of the tour is to enjoy Salzburg.
