Third Reich + Dachau Concentration Camp Tour
You'll meet at the Munich Central Train Station to begin the tour of Germany's Third Reich and the Dachau Concentration Camp. During the tour, key locations linked to Adolf Hitler’s rise to power and the origins of Nazism in Germany and Europe will be explored.
In Munich's Old Town, historic sites will be visited, including the building where Hitler joined the Nazi Party and the former Gestapo headquarters. The site of the Beer Hall Putsch, or 'Munich Putsch' from 1923, will also be included.
After 2 hours 30 minutes of exploring Munich, an hour of free time will be provided before heading to Königsplatz to take the train to Dachau. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes to reach the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site.
Upon arrival, a 5-hour tour of the camp and museum will commence. Dachau was the first Nazi concentration camp built in Germany during the Holocaust and was subsequently used as a model for other camps.
During the visit, photographs, documents, reconstructed cell blocks, the crematorium, and administration headquarters will be observed. Information about prominent figures linked to the camp, such as Heinrich Himmler, will also be shared.
Finally, the group will return to Munich, where farewells will be exchanged.
