A sunken city, ancient ruins carved into the mountain and the church of St. Nicholas highlight this excursion to Kekova and Demre from Antalya.

Kekova + Demre Tour

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Antalya. We will then transport you to the port of Demre where you will board a traditional Turkish boat to sail to the island of Kekova.

During the sail on the Mediterranean's clear waters, we will explore the remains of the ancient submerged city of Simena. You will learn about the legends of this site and have an opportunity to disembark for a closer inspection of the island. A stop will be made at Burc Bay for swimming.

Upon returning to the mainland, we will visit the ancient city of Mira to see its amphitheatre and rock-cut tombs.

After the exploration, we will enjoy a traditional Turkish dish for lunch. The tour will continue with a visit to the church of St. Nicholas, with the option to go inside the church at your own pace.

Finally, we will return you to your hotel in Antalya, arriving approximately 10 hours after pickup.
