Sabinar de Calatañazor Hot Air Balloon Ride

Join us for a hot air balloon ride over the Sabinar de Calatañazor, where you'll fly over this natural site dating back to the Tertiary Era and see the town of Muriel de la Fuente and the Sierra de Cabrejas.

Activity Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the Parque de la Fuentona, where our hot air balloon will be waiting. We will explain the safety rules and how to coordinate during landing. After these instructions, we'll begin our hot air balloon ride over the Sabinar de Calatañazor.

We will ascend and admire the village of Muriel de la Fuente and the Abión River as we enter the Reserva Natural del Sabinar de Calatañazor. Information will be shared about this prehistoric forest featuring tree specimens over 400 years old and 20 meters tall.

We'll fly over one of the world's highest densities of savin forests, with views of the Sierra de Cabrejas. You will have opportunities to take pictures during this 1-hour flight, followed by a fun landing experience.

If you're hungry, enjoy a countryside picnic with regional delicacies, including cured meats and Iberian cheese, concluding with a toast with cava.

The activity will last approximately 3 hours, ending at the starting point. See you next time!
