This ancient city is associated with the Mycenaean period from 1600 to 1200 BC. Your visit will allow you to explore scenes from Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. Highlights include the Lion Gate, a 3-meter high entrance featuring a monolith with two lions, the ruins of the Palace of Agamemnon, and the Treasury of Atreus, known as the Tomb of Agamemnon. The ticket grants access to the Archaeological Museum of Mycenae, which showcases a photographic exhibition and over 2500 objects from Mycenaean civilization.
