At the indicated time we'll meet at the Shirakawa bus terminal to begin our guided tour of the village in one of the most beautiful rural areas of Japan.

First, we'll head to a viewpoint for panoramic views of Shirakawa, admiring the gassho-zukuri-style houses with their sloping roofs.

Then, we'll proceed to the Nagase house, a traditional home over 250 years old, where the same family has lived throughout that time. There, we will discuss the construction of these houses, their layout, and local life.

After that, we'll visit Myozenji Temple, founded in the 18th century and one of the most sacred places in Shirakawa, where we will explore the main prayer hall and the zen garden.

Finally, we'll go to Shirakawa Hachiman Temple on the hilltop, known for its impressive architecture and wonderful views.
