When you make your reservation, you can choose one of the following options:
Full-Day Tour (8.5 Hours)
Meet at Kanazawa Station and board a bus for a scenic journey to Shirakawago. During the 1-hour ride, enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the Japanese Alps. Upon arrival, see the traditional Gassho-zukuri houses and wander through the village’s historic streets, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience the local culture and try regional delicacies like Hida beef or Doburoku ice cream.
After exploring Shirakawago, return to Kanazawa and visit Kenrokuen Garden, noted for its meticulously designed landscape, tea houses, bridges, and hidden corners. Next, experience Kanazawa’s artistic heritage with a visit to a local artisan. Depending on availability, watch the craft of Daruma painting or the art of making traditional Japanese sweets.
Conclude the day in the Higashi Chaya district, a preserved entertainment quarter showcasing geisha culture and famous for gold leaf postcards. After 8.5 hours, return to the starting point.
