Shirakawago and Hirayu Onsen Tour

On this tour, we'll explore Japanese rural life by visiting the historic village of Shirakawago and the hot springs of Hirayu Onsen.

At the agreed time, we'll meet at the Shirakawago bus station to take a public bus to start the tour.

We will first visit the village of Shirakawago to learn about its history. This site is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, featuring houses with triangular roofs made of straw, ponds, and rice fields.

Next, we will tour the Wada family home to see a typical Japanese residence and observe tools related to sericulture. Our guide will provide interesting facts about the area.

Afterwards, we will return to the bus and head to Hirayu Onsen, the thermal village in the Japanese Alps. Following an hour and a half journey, we will enjoy a dip in the thermal pools, which are part of a purification ritual.

After relaxing, we will take a walk to discover the Hirayu Waterfalls, surrounded by the tranquility of nature and its beauty.

Finally, we will take you to Takayama station and conclude our tour after 8 hours.
