20-Minute Tour
This 20-minute tour covers the main parts of the historic centre of Takayama. You'll walk through charming streets with houses dating back to the 17th century. The tour includes the facade of Takayama Jinya, the governor's residence, and crossing Miyagawa river via the Nakabashi bridge, concluding the tour there.
45-Minute Tour
This option includes a visit to the old town of Takayama and explores the spirituality of Japanese culture at the Yamazakura sanctuary. You will learn about its history and conclude the tour outside the temple after 45 minutes.
70-Minute Tour
The 70-minute tour is the most comprehensive. It includes the historical centre, Yamazakura Shrine, and Hida Kokubun-ji Temple. This visit features the city's famous three-storey pagoda and a great ginkgo tree, considered a natural monument in Japan. The tour ends outside Hida Kokubun-ji Temple.
