20-Minute Tour
This brief tour allows you to get to know the main parts of the historic centre of Takayama. The route includes charming streets with houses dating back to the 17th century. You'll see the facade of Takayama Jinya and cross Miyagawa river via the Nakabashi bridge.
45-Minute Tour
This option includes a visit to the old town of Takayama and exploration of Yamazakura sanctuary for a deeper understanding of Japanese spirituality. You'll learn about the history and conclude the tour outside the temple after 45 minutes.
70-Minute Tour
The most comprehensive option, this tour covers the historical centre, Yamazakura Shrine, and Hida Kokubun-ji Temple. You'll visit the renowned three-storey pagoda and the ancient ginkgo tree, noted as a natural monument in Japan, finishing outside Hida Kokubun-ji Temple.
