At the scheduled time, we'll meet in the Sanmachi Suji neighbourhood in Takayama and walk to the premises to learn about rice liquor.

Historically, there were over 50 distilleries in this Japanese city 300 years ago, making it an important location to learn about the tradition of sake and its varieties.

We'll visit an old winery, touring its rooms to understand the sake production process. Some theories suggest that this Japanese specialty has been made since the 3rd century. During the visit, we'll enjoy a tasting.

After half an hour, we'll conclude the activity outside the premises.
