At the designated hour, we will convene in the Sanmachi Suji district of Takayama and stroll to the brewery where we will uncover the intricate process behind this traditional rice liquor.

Interestingly, over 300 years ago, more than 50 sake breweries thrived in this Japanese locale, marking a significant historical record. It’s evident that we are in an ideal spot to dive into sake traditions and explore its various forms.

Our journey will take us through an ancient winery, where we will examine the various stages of sake production. Some theories suggest that this Japanese craft dates back to the 3rd century. Moreover, we will have the opportunity to indulge in a tasting during our visit. Kanpai!

After approximately thirty minutes of exploration, we will conclude our activity outside of the brewery.
