Takayama & Shirakawago Day Trip

We will meet at the west exit of Nagoya Station. After approximately 2 hours by bus, we'll arrive in Takayama, where we will stroll down Sannomachi Street to admire traditional wooden houses and temples. You will have free time to enjoy a meal at a recommended local restaurant. After lunch, we'll visit Miyagawa and Jinya-mae markets to observe local life.

Then, we'll head to Shirakawago, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, walking through its streets and viewing buildings with triangular straw roofs, some over 250 years old. We may visit the Ogimachi Castle Observatory Deck for views of Gassho-mura and Mount Hakusan, concluding our trip at Ochiudo Cafe.

We'll return to Nagoya, arriving back after a duration of 10 hours.

Schedule: this activity starts at 9 am.

Takayama & Shirakawago Day Trip + Viewpoint

This option includes the same itinerary but allows you to climb to a viewpoint in Shiragawago after visiting the café. Access to the viewpoint will be via shuttle bus, which is included. This option extends the tour by 30 minutes, with a departure time of 8:30 am.
