5-Day Safari in Kenya

How do you feel about spending your vacation among lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, flamingos, and a bunch of other African wild animals? These are the highlights of this 5-day safari that starts in Nairobi. We'll visit the Masai Mara Reserve, Lake Nakuru, and Aberdare National Park.

5-Day Safari in Kenya

Day 1: Nairobi - Aberdare National Park

At 8 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Nairobi and leave for Aberdare National Park. This reserve is famous for its lush landscape located at an altitude of over 4000 meters (13,125 feet). We will try to spot lions, leopards, buffaloes, and baboons. After the safari, we will head to the hotel, where you have the rest of the day free to eat and rest.

Day 2: Aberdare National Park - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, we will travel to Lake Nakuru, arriving after a four-hour drive. Following lunch at the lodge, we will explore Lake Nakuru, known for its flamingos and pelicans and for being a habitat for white and black rhinos.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara

After breakfast, we will head to the Masai Mara National Reserve. On arrival, we will have lunch and then embark on a wildlife viewing tour. Expect to see giraffes, elephants, monkeys, leopards, lions, and gazelles.

Day 4: Maasai Mara

You will have the morning free, with the option to book a hot air balloon ride. Otherwise, we will continue exploring the Maasai Mara by ground, spotting zebras, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, and learn about the local tribe.

Day 5: Maasai Mara - Nairobi

On the last day, after breakfast, we will depart Maasai Mara and head towards Nairobi, dropping you off at your accommodation or at the airport around 2 pm.

Hot-air balloon ride over Maasai Mara

During the fourth day, we highly recommend a hot air balloon ride over Maasai Mara. You'll watch the sun rise over this natural reserve full of wild animals.
