Maasai Mara 3 Day Safari

Maasai Mara is a significant national park in Kenya. This 3-day safari from Nairobi offers the opportunity to see wildlife and enjoy sunrises and sunsets over the African Savannah.

Description

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara

Pickup will occur from your hotel in Nairobi or a designated meeting point. The drive to Maasai Mara will take approximately 4.5 hours through the Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop for photos. Upon arrival, lunch will be provided before a sunset game drive lasting 2 hours, followed by a buffet dinner at the camp.

Day 2: Maasai Mara

The day begins with breakfast before a full-day safari to explore the reserve. Participants can expect to search for the “Big Five” and learn about local migrations. A picnic lunch will be served around midday, followed by visits to sites for wildlife observation, including crocodiles and hippos at the Mara River. Evening dinner will be served at the camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

After breakfast, the group will depart the camp and head back to Nairobi, stopping for lunch en route before hotel drop-off in the afternoon.

Pickup is available from hotels within downtown Nairobi. Guests outside this area can meet at City Market. Additional fees apply for other pickup locations or from the airport.

Accommodation

The safari includes 2 nights of accommodation with breakfast and dinner at Rhino Tourist Camp or a similar option.

Maasai Mara Hot Air Balloon

An optional hot air balloon ride over Maasai Mara is available on the second day at sunrise, including a champagne toast.

Maasai Village Visit

An upgrade option includes a visit to a traditional Maasai Village on the return trip for insights into the cultural heritage of the Maasai community.
