On this private tour from Nairobi, we'll climb to the top of Mount Longonot, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, and see the Great Rift Valley.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi to begin the adventure in the Great Rift Valley.

We'll leave Nairobi and head towards Mount Longonot National Park, stopping at a lookout point to enjoy views of this landscape formed over 5 million years ago. The Great Rift Valley stretches from the Red Sea through Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Our journey continues as we enter the park to start a hiking route to the crater of Longonot volcano. The ascent, of medium difficulty, takes around 5 hours, with breaks for views to make the climb manageable.

Upon reaching the top of Longonot, we'll have views of Lake Naivasha, Suswa Volcano, Hell's Gate, and the entire Rift Valley.

After viewing the landscapes, we'll descend and return to the minibus to travel to the shores of Lake Naivasha, where you'll have free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

After our break, we'll take a boat ride on the lake to observe hippos and numerous birds in search of fish.

Finally, we'll return to Nairobi, dropping you off at your hotel after a 10-hour excursion.
