Samburu National Reserve Private 2 or 3-Day Safari

Experience the untamed beauty of northern Kenya with a 2 or 3-day safari in the Samburu National Reserve. Accompanied by a private guide, venture through the savannah in search of unique wildlife.

Tour Details

Day 1

We will pick you up from Nairobi airport or your hotel and head to Samburu National Reserve, which is a 6.5-hour drive. After check-in at the hotel, enjoy a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, searching for species like the reticulated giraffe and Grevy's zebra. We will return to the lodge for dinner before resting for the next day.

Day 2

After an early start for a last safari in Samburu, return to the lodge for breakfast. Once refreshed, check out and begin the journey back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or a location of your choice.

Visit a Maasai village

During free time, you can coordinate with your guide to visit a nearby Maasai village and immerse yourself in their culture.

3-Day Safari

Upgrade to a 3-day safari for additional experiences. After a sunrise safari on the second day, enjoy a buffet lunch followed by another wildlife safari and dinner at the lodge. On the third day, there will be a final sunrise safari and check-out before heading back to Nairobi.

This safari includes 1 or 2 nights full board accommodation in:

Samburu Sopa Lodge (3*)Samburu Simba Lodge (4*)

The choice of accommodation depends on availability. Children under 4 travel free but must share a bed with adults.

Important: Schedules and Flights

Pickup is scheduled for 6 am, so your flight must land by 4 am. It is recommended to stay overnight in Nairobi prior to the safari. On the last day, we expect to arrive in Nairobi around 6 pm. If flying out the same day, book domestic flights no earlier than 8 pm and international flights no earlier than 9 pm.
