Samburu National Reserve Private 2 or 3-Day Safari

Tour Details

Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

At the indicated time, pick-up from Nairobi airport or your hotel will take place. The journey to the Samburu National Reserve lasts approximately 6.5 hours. After checking into the hotel, a buffet lunch will be served. In the afternoon, enjoy the first game drive through the reserve to search for wildlife such as the reticulated giraffe and Grevy's zebra. Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve - Nairobi

After an early wake-up call, head out for one last safari in Samburu. Following the safari, return to the lodge for breakfast and then check out to begin the return journey to Nairobi, where drop-off will occur at your hotel or chosen location.

Visit a Maasai village

During free time, visit a nearby Maasai village by coordinating with the guide, allowing cultural immersion.

3-Day Safari

Consider upgrading to a 3-day safari. After the sunrise safari on the second day, rest at the lodge, enjoy a buffet lunch, and proceed for another wildlife safari. The third day includes a final sunrise safari, breakfast, and the journey back to Nairobi.

This safari includes 1 or 2 nights of full board accommodation in either:

Samburu Sopa Lodge (3*)Samburu Simba Lodge (4*)

Room assignments will depend on the group size. Children under 4 years travel free, sharing rooms with adults.

Important: Schedules and Flights

Ensure your flight to Nairobi arrives no later than 4 am for a scheduled 6 am pick-up. We recommend staying at a hotel in Nairobi the night before the safari at your own expense. Arrival back in Nairobi on the final day is around 6 pm. Plan domestic flights for no earlier than 8 pm and international flights for no earlier than 9 pm.
