Embark on a transformative 6-day journey through southern Kenya, where you will discover the stunning beauty of Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru, and the renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Overview of the 6-Day Tour

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

We begin our adventure by picking you up from your Nairobi hotel at the specified time, setting off towards Maasai Mara National Reserve. On the way, we will pause briefly at the Rift Valley, allowing 10 to 15 minutes for you to take in the breathtaking scenery and, with a bit of luck, spot some wildlife.

Upon our arrival at Maasai Mara, we'll settle into our camp and enjoy a satisfying lunch. Post-lunch, prepare for a thrilling sunset game drive through the reserve, where you'll encounter giraffes, elephants, lions, and cheetahs. For those visiting between July and August, a spectacular wildlife event awaits—the wildebeest migration, a dramatic spectacle where thousands of wildebeests cross the Mara River alongside zebras and antelopes, often described as the seventh wonder of the world.

After an exhilarating day, we will return to the camp for a buffet dinner, concluding our first day.

Day 2: Exploring Maasai Mara National Reserve

Following breakfast, we will embark on a full day of exploration within the Maasai Mara National Reserve, continuing our quest for the Big Five—lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and African buffalo.

At midday, we’ll stop for a picnic lunch in the heart of the park. Our journey will take us to the epicenter of the wildebeest migration, where you may spot some crocodiles and hippos basking by the banks of the Mara River. Afterward, we’ll continue our game drive, immersing ourselves in the lush landscapes of the reserve.

Once our day concludes, we head back to camp for dinner and a restful night.

Day 3: From Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Awake refreshed! After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey towards Nakuru. Should you wish, we can make a stop to visit a Maasai Village along our route.

Approximately 3.5 to 4 hours later, we will arrive at our hotel, check in, and take time to relax before continuing our adventure.

Day 4: Nakuru to Amboseli National Park

Post-breakfast, we’ll check out from the hotel and proceed to Amboseli National Park, where a day full of unforgettable experiences awaits!

This compact park is home to rare white rhinos that are part of the Big Five, and we may also have the fortune of spotting flamingos. Our exploration will include a 3-hour game drive before heading onward to Amboseli, with a lunch break along the way.

As evening arrives, we’ll check into our hotel in Amboseli, where dinner and relaxation await until the following day.

Day 5: Full Day in Amboseli

Rise and shine! After enjoying an early breakfast, we prepare for a comprehensive day within Amboseli National Park, carrying a packed lunch to keep our energy high throughout the adventures!

Our day will be spent on safari, watching for animals including zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hipposMount Kilimanjaro. The sights will surely be captivating!

In the evening, we will return to camp for dinner and enjoy another restful night.

Day 6: Amboseli to Nairobi

As our safari comes to a close, we'll start with breakfast before embarking on our return journey to Nairobi. But we won’t rush; on the way back, we’ll include one final game drive!

Eventually, we’ll arrive back in Nairobi, dropping you off at your hotel or the airport if your travels lead you elsewhere.

For this activity, hotel pickup is available from establishments located in the central Nairobi City Centre or Westlands. If your accommodation is situated outside of this area, we will arrange to meet at the central City Market. An additional fee will apply if you require pickup from an alternate location or from the airport.
