Private Tour Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled time and head north toward Longsheng, known for its tiered rice terraces. The drive lasts about two hours, showcasing the classic scenery of rural China.

Upon arrival, we will visit the ticket office to buy tickets for Longji. After securing the tickets, a vehicle will transport us to the Longji parking lot in approximately half an hour. From there, you may take a sightseeing vehicle to Jiulongwuhu (five-minute ride) or hike up (about an hour and a half). The choice is yours.

At our destination, we will explore the Longji rice fields and learn about the term “Dragon's Backbone.” With your guide, you will discover the irrigation system of local farmers and enjoy panoramic views.

After visiting Longji, we will walk to Qixingbanyue, the Seven Stars Around the Moon viewing platform, for impressive views. A hike down the mountain will take us through the village of Ping'an, where you will have free time for lunch.

Finally, we will return to the Longji parking lot for transport back to your hotel in Guilin, concluding the eight-hour tour.

Best From June to October

The optimal time to enjoy the rice terraces is from June to October. Note that local restaurants are closed from November to April.
