Head into the enchanting region of Longshen and discover the famous rice terraces of China on this tour from Guilin. You'll learn about the local rural way of life with the guidance of a professional English-speaking guide.

Private Tour Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel at the designated time and head north to Longshen, known for its stepped rice terraces. The two-hour journey will showcase picturesque landscapes of rural China.

We'll stroll through the rice fields of Longji, discovering the origin of its name, meaning "Dragon Column." The guide will explain the unique irrigation system established by local farmers, and you'll enjoy panoramic views of the mountainside.

After exploring Longji, we'll walk for 30 minutes to Longsheng, where the guide will discuss more than ten ethnic groups residing in the area.

After several hours in Longsheng, we'll return to hotels in Guilin, completing approximately 8 hours of activity.

Best From June to October

The optimal time to visit the rice terraces is from June to October. Note that local restaurants are closed from November to April.
