Private Tour Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time before heading north to Longshen, an area of Guilin famous for its stepped rice terraces. During the two-hour journey, we'll enjoy picturesque landscapes of rural China.
We'll stroll through the famous rice fields of Longji, learning about its origin, which means the "Dragon Column". Our guide will explain the unique irrigation system established by local farmers and provide a spectacular panoramic view of the mountainside.
After the landscape of Longji, we'll continue to Longsheng on a 30-minute walk, during which the guide will detail the more than ten ethnic groups living in the area.
After several hours exploring the beautiful region of Longsheng, we'll return to hotels in Guilin, arriving after 8 hours of activity.
Best From June to October
The best time to enjoy the rice terraces is from June to October. Please note that local restaurants are closed from November to April.
