Capri and Pompeii Day Trip

Fall in love with the beauty of Capri and travel back in time while admiring the archaeological UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pompeii. This is a tour of contrasts that combines the history of Ancient Rome and the high fashion of the island!

Day Trip Details

The tour will start in the morning at your selected pickup point. There, we'll take a hydrofoil ferry to the island of Capri, just off the coast of Sorrento.

Our trip to Capri will start at La Piazzeta, and from there we'll delve into the island's narrow streets, full of local shops and well-known Italian fashion designers.

We'll walk up Vía Krupp to reach the Gardens of Augustus, the summer residence of German steel tycoon Friedrich Alfred Krupp in the 20th century. From here, we'll admire the Faraglioni; three rocks that rise out of the sea close to the coast. Be ready for some picture-perfect shots!

You'll have some free time to discover the island's cuisine with a traditional lunch (not included) and explore the island's typical shops before returning to Naples.

Once back in the capital of Campania, we'll head toward our next destination: Pompeii. While we explore the archaeological site, we'll uncover its history, marked by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79. We’ll travel back in time to Ancient Rome, discovering the thermal baths, Macellum, and Basilica while learning about life back then.

After this immersive experience in history, we'll return to Naples, concluding the day trip after a total of 8 hours.

If there are fewer than 6 people in the group, the guide will be substituted by an audio guide in Pompeii.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

During this tour, you will take a hydrofoil ferry to Capri, explore the island, and then visit Pompeii. The services included are park access and pick-up from predetermined locations in Naples. Lunch is not included, so plan your meal accordingly. The visit to Pompeii will utilize an audio guide if the group is fewer than 6, ensuring you receive detailed historical context even in smaller groups.

The pick-up for the tour is provided at designated points, so please ensure to arrive punctually at your chosen location. The duration of the tour spans 8 hours from start to finish, allowing ample time for exploration and learning.
