August 24, year 79 A.C.: the ground trembles, the sky darkens, and Vesuvius unleashes its wrath. Join us on a day trip to Pompeii from Naples to explore the history of Pompeii at its ruins.

Day Trip to Pompeii

We will depart from the center of Naples and travel by bus to the archaeological site of Pompeii.

After a drive of approximately 40 minutes, we will arrive at the remains of the ancient Roman city. We will learn about the eruption of Vesuvius that affected Stabiae, Herculaneum, and Pompeii, witnessing the devastation through its streets and seeing how ashes covered much of the urban center.

The city was buried and forgotten until the 18th century, with rediscoveries linked to excavations under Carlos III. Our tour includes the forum where Romans gathered and traded.

We will view public buildings, including the Lupanar (brothel), featuring frescos that reflect their lifestyle, and the luxurious House of the Vetti.

After this 2-hour tour, we will return to the pickup point in Naples, concluding the activity with a total duration of 3.5 to 4.5 hours.
