Museo dell'Acqua Guided Tour
We'll meet at the specified time in central Piazza Dante and take a short stroll to the Museo dell'Acqua. Prepare to explore Naples' undergrounds!
As we descend 35 meters underground (114 feet), we will explore various tunnels and galleries. During this journey, we will uncover the remains of an ancient Greco-Roman aqueduct from the time when the city was known as Neapolis.
Continuing our tour, we will admire the remains of the ancient cistern and explore the ruins of the largest underground space in Naples, known as the Prince's Pool. You'll discover the origin of its name during the tour.
Along the approximately 1 kilometer (0.8 miles) route, we will also observe the area that served as an aircraft shelter during World War II bombings.
After 1 hour and 15 minutes, we will return to the surface, concluding our tour.
