Naples Highlights Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Piazza del Municipio. From this point, we'll begin a guided tour of Naples that'll lead us to delve into the noble and elegant past of the capital of Campania whilst admiring some of its most iconic monuments.

After seeing the Naples City Hall building, we'll walk towards the Castel Nuovo, whose origins date back to the 13th century. We'll discuss the numerous sackings and battles this building has faced and reveal some legends about its dungeons. We'll admire its great triumphal arch and explain its connections with European royal houses.

The next stop will be in front of the St. Charles Theater to examine its Neoclassical façade and recall the great fire in 1816. We'll continue to the Belle Époque, viewing examples such as the Umberto I Gallery, a luxury fashion and restaurant mall, and the Gambrinus cafe. Halfway through the tour, we'll pause at a traditional bar in the Spanish Quarter for a traditional Neapolitan coffee.

This tour will also include Piazza del Plebiscito, where we can admire the Royal Palace, the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, and several sculptures of former Neapolitan kings.

Before concluding, we'll walk along the promenade to enjoy panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples with Vesuvius in the background. After 2 hours, we'll end this tour of Naples highlights.
