Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Piazza del Municipio. From this point, we'll begin a guided tour of Naples that will lead us to delve into the noble and elegant past of the capital of Campania whilst admiring some of its most iconic monuments.

After seeing the Naples City Hall, we'll walk towards the Castel Nuovo, which dates back to the 13th century. We'll discuss the numerous sackings and battles that this building has withstood and reveal legends about its dungeons. We'll admire its grand triumphal arch and its connections with European royal houses.

The next stop will be in front of the St. Charles Theater. We'll examine its Neoclassical façade and the great fire it faced in 1816. We'll move to the Belle Époque, seeing examples such as the Umberto I Gallery and the Gambrinus cafe.

This tour will take us through Piazza del Plebiscito, where we can admire the Royal Palace, the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, and sculptures of former Neapolitan kings.

Before concluding, we'll stroll along Via Toledo and the Spanish Quarter, admiring its buildings and shops, ultimately reaching the most emblematic underground station of Naples, where we can see well-preserved Roman ruins. The tour lasts a total of 2 hours and 20 minutes.
