Naples National Archaeological Museum Private Tour
At 10 am, we'll meet outside the National Archaeological Museum. Accompanied by the guide, we'll enter this 16th-century building to explore its extensive collection of artefacts.
For 1.5 hours, we'll tour the various rooms of the museum, spanning four floors. We'll visit the Farnese collection to see its many sculptures of the ancient Roman Empire. We will discuss the beliefs of this civilization and reveal facts about the art pieces.
Next, we'll explore the rooms dedicated to Pompeii and Herculaneum. Through a large collection of mosaics, papyrus, and everyday utensils, we will discover how people lived in these cities before the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
Additionally, vases, jewellery, coins, and items from ancient Egypt will be on display.
After 1.5 to 2 hours, we will conclude our guided tour. You may stay in the museum and continue exploring its rooms freely.
