Pompeii, Herculaneum & Vesuvius Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet in Piazza Garibaldi in Naples, from where we'll start our excursion to Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Vesuvius.

The first stop of the tour will be Pompeii, which you'll visit at your own leisure, with an audio guide in English. During the two-hour stop, you'll discover how the inhabitants of Pompeii lived before the eruption of Vesuvius by visiting the House of the Faun, the House of the Tragic Poet, and the thermal baths with the original frescoes of the Lupanar.

Next destination: Herculaneum, where you'll have an hour and a half of free time to explore the archaeological site. You can visit the House of the Corinthian Atrium, see the frescoes of the House of the Deer, or enter the thermal baths of the Forum.

The last stop on the tour will be Vesuvius, the famous volcano in Campania whose eruption in 79 AD devastated Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Stabia. You'll have two hours of free time to climb its crater and enjoy a panoramic view of the Gulf of Naples.

After exploring the Vesuvius area, we'll start our way back to Naples 8 hours after the start time.
