Description
At the specified time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Naples, the train station, or the marina, subject to availability, to begin this 7-8 hour day trip.
After a 40-minute drive, we will arrive at Pompeii, a renowned archaeological site. Following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius on August 24, 79 AD, the town's inhabitants were buried. With our guide, we will visit the excavated buildings from the 18th century: the forum, thermal baths, and theatre, among others, including the Roman brothel with various erotic paintings.
After the tour of Pompeii, we will have a light lunch with soft drinks or water before heading to Torre del Greco, at the foot of the volcano, to begin our ascent. The effort of the ascent is rewarded with unbeatable views of Naples Bay.
After descending Vesuvius, we will return by bus to Naples, completing the excursion in 7-8 hours.
