Tour Description

We will convene at Via Porta San Gennaro, a notable gateway into the Rione Sanità. Prepare to explore the intimate passageways of this historic area of Naples!

As we stroll through the neighborhood, you will encounter vibrant murals honoring Totò and Maradona, alongside a selection of significant historical structures. Key highlights include Palazzo Sanfelice and Palazzo dello Spagnolo, exemplary works of Neapolitan Baroque artistry.

Following this, we shall discuss the efforts of the local social cooperative focused on revitalizing the district. Our journey will also take us along the renowned Alley of Culture, a vibrant area adorned with street art.

We will take the time to appreciate the facade of the Basilica di San Severo Fuori le Mura as well as the creche in the Basilica di Santa Maria della Sanità, which shines as a beacon of hope and unity.

As we continue our exploration, we will savor one of Naples' signature dishes, fried pizza. Indulge in a sweet treat and a coffee at one of the city's famous pastry shops.
