Tour Details

After meeting in Piazza del Gesù Nuovo at the scheduled time, we will begin our guided tour of Spaccanapoli, a historic street in Naples. This ancient thoroughfare divides the old town into north and south. Our guide will provide insights into the street's history.

During our walking tour of Spaccanapoli, we will discover various piazzas and admire the façades of several important churches. We will pass through narrow streets and alleyways to reach Piazza San Domenico, home to the San Domenico Maggiore Church.

We will also visit the Church of Sant'Angelo a Nilo, notable for its red architecture and the Nile God statue, with the guide explaining the symbolism behind this iconic statue.

Next, we will enter the Sansevero Chapel, a highlight of the tour, to see the renowned Veiled Christ. This statue is celebrated for its realism and detail.

Our guided tour of Spaccanapoli will conclude in Piazza San Gaetano, ending at Naples Cathedral.
