Tour Details

After meeting in Piazza del Gesù Nuovo at the scheduled time, we will commence our guided tour of Spaccanapoli, a historic street in Naples that divides the old town into north and south. Our guide will share insights about the street's history as we proceed.

During our walking tour of Spaccanapoli, we will visit various charming piazzas and view the façades of significant churches. We will navigate through narrow streets to reach Piazza San Domenico, where the San Domenico Maggiore Church is located.

Next, we will proceed to the Church of Sant'Angelo a Nilo, noted for its striking red architecture and the statue of the Nile God. The guide will explain the significance of this statue.

We will then arrive at the Sansevero Chapel, where we will experience one of the tour's highlights: viewing the Veiled Christ, regarded as one of the greatest sculptures in art history due to its realism and detail.
