Discover the view of Naples on this tour of Mount Echia. Enjoy a boat ride with an aperitif as you take in the sights of the city from the sea.
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll start our tour from Piazza Trieste e Trento, where you'll learn about the history of the Royal Palace of Naples, linked to the rule of the Spanish viceroys and later the Austrians.
We'll continue toward Piazza del Plebiscito, learning more about the city and its royal dynasties. Next, we'll reach the Lungomare, where the elevator will take us to Mount Echia.
This hill, located in the area of Pizzofalcone, houses the ruins of the Villa of Lucullus, a Roman Domus linked to Castel dell'Ovo. During this part of the journey, we'll discuss the artifacts found at the site and their preservation in various locations across the city.
After this, we'll head to the pier of Lungomare, adjacent to the Castel dell'Ovo. A traditional wooden boat will be waiting for us to sail near the bastion.
From the boat, you'll explore the fortress from the sea while enjoying an aperitif featuring traditional products like taralli, provolone cheese, and olives, accompanied by wine, beer, or a beverage.
We will conclude this 3-hour tour after returning to the pier where we started.
