Discover the stunning view of Naples on this tour of Mount Echia, including a boat ride with an aperitif while enjoying city sights from the sea.

Tour Details

The tour begins at Piazza Trieste e Trento, where participants will learn about the history of the Royal Palace of Naples, associated with the Spanish viceroys and later the Austrians.

Next, we will proceed to Piazza del Plebiscito to gather more insights about the city and its royal dynasties, followed by a visit to the Lungomare, where the elevator leads to Mount Echia.

Located in the Pizzofalcone area, Mount Echia features the ruins of the Villa of Lucullus, a Roman Domus extending to the present-day Castel dell'Ovo. Details about the artifacts found at this site and their preservation in the city will be discussed.

After this historical overview, we will head to the pier at Lungomare, adjacent to the Castel dell'Ovo, where a traditional wooden boat will be ready for our journey.

From the boat, participants can explore the fortress from the sea while enjoying an aperitif of traditional products such as taralli, provolone cheese, and olives, along with wine, beer, or a non-alcoholic beverage.

The tour concludes back at the original pier after a total duration of 3 hours.
