Tour Details
At the designated time, the tour will start from Piazza Trieste e Trento. Participants will learn about the history of the Royal Palace of Naples, related to the Spanish viceroys and the Austrians.
The route continues to Piazza del Plebiscito for more insights on the city and its royal dynasties. Next, we will head to the Lungomare, where the elevator will take us to Mount Echia.
This hill, located in the Pizzofalcone area, houses the ruins of the Villa of Lucullus, which extended into the Castel dell'Ovo. During the visit, information will be shared about objects found at this site and their preservation.
Afterward, we will go to the pier of Lungomare beside the Castel dell'Ovo. A traditional wooden boat will be available for a sail near the bastion.
From the boat, participants can explore the fortress from the sea while enjoying an aperitif with traditional products such as taralli, provolone cheese, and olives, served with wine, beer, or a beverage. The tour concludes at the departure pier after a total of 3 hours.
