At the time of your choice, we'll meet in front of the National Archaeological Museum ticket office to start a tour of one of the most important collections in Naples.

After a brief introduction, we’ll begin our tour of the permanent exhibition by visiting the Farnese collection, featuring a large compendium of Greco-Latin pieces. Stand-out pieces include the statue of Hercules, the statue of the Farnese bull, and the busts of the Roman emperors.

The tour will continue in the rooms of Pompeii and Herculaneum, showcasing a collection of pieces buried by volcanic lava after the eruption of Vesuvius on August 29, 79 AD.

We'll discover the impact of this natural disaster on the Roman Empire and explore other rooms of the collection, including the famous mosaic of the Battle of Issus, depicting Alexander the Great against the Persian Darius III.

Finally, we’ll conclude the tour after 2 hours by returning to the main entrance of the museum. You’ll have the option to explore the museum further until closing time.
