At the time of your choice, we'll meet in front of the National Archaeological Museum ticket office to start a tour of one of the most important collections in Naples.

After a brief introduction, we'll begin our tour of the permanent exhibition by visiting the Farnese collection. This extraordinary sculptural display includes Greco-Latin pieces such as the statue of Hercules, the statue of the Farnese bull, and a set of busts of the Roman emperors.

The tour will continue in the rooms of Pompeii and Herculaneum, where we will see a large collection of pieces buried by volcanic lava after the eruption of Vesuvius on August 29, 79 AD.

We will discover the impact of this natural disaster on the Roman Empire and explore other rooms of the collection, including the mosaic of the Battle of Issus, depicting Alexander the Great against the Persian Darius III.

Finally, we will conclude the tour after 2 hours by returning to the main entrance of the museum. You are welcome to explore the museum further until closing time.
