Nashville Guided Tour
At the selected time, we'll meet outside the Sheraton Hotel to begin this guided tour of Nashville. The focus will be on exploring Downtown Nashville, where the major landmarks of Tennessee's capital city are located.
As we start, we'll see the War Memorial Auditorium, built after World War I, the Tennessee Capitol, and iconic sculptures such as that of former U.S. President Andrew Jackson.
We'll stroll down Sixth Avenue to discover Nashville's urban art murals, discussing the street decoration project initiated in 2016 while viewing works by artists like Herakut, Rone, and Curiot. We'll explore the cultural significance of these colorful graffiti.
The guided tour will proceed through Printer's Alley, stopping at legendary bars such as Skull's Rainbow Room, where we’ll discuss the history of the city's recording industry.
Next, we'll admire the facades of historic buildings such as the Southern Turf, the Cohen Building, the Ryman Auditorium, and the Downtown Presbyterian Church. We will share interesting facts about these sites and provide opportunities for photography.
After an hour and a half of sightseeing, we'll conclude our tour of Downtown Nashville at the Assembly Food Hall.
