With this tour of Graycliff Chocolatier, you'll embark on a journey through the history of this delicacy in the Bahamas, including a chocolate tasting.

Tour Options

During the booking process to visit the Graycliff Chocolatier, you can choose two types of experiences. For both choices, we'll meet at the designated time at the factory's entrance, located on Hill Street.

Standard Tour (15 Minutes)

This tour begins by sharing the history of cacao's origins in the Bahamas, including its significance and early uses. You will explore the factory's facilities to learn about the elaboration process of chocolate–from cacao seed roasting to the grinding process. At the end of the tour, you'll be able to try two types of Graycliff chocolate.

Tour + Chocolate Workshop (1 Hour)

This option includes the same tour as above, but additionally, you'll learn how to make your own chocolate. You will wear appropriate attire and be guided through the process and techniques. You'll create chocolate bars, bonbons, truffles, and chocolate pops for cocktails, and taste your creations.

Schedules: the tour with the chocolate workshop is held every day at 9:45 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.
