Sierra Baguales Hiking Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Natales at 7:30 am and set off towards the Sierra Baguales.

Upon arrival, we'll enjoy coffee and cookies before starting our hiking adventure. After breakfast, we'll take a short half-hour walk to the Irene Lagoon, where the Andean condor resides. In this area, we'll share information related to the colonization of Chilean Patagonia.

Next, we'll board the bus to the starting point of the second part of the hiking route through the Sierra Baguales. We'll walk for 12.5 kilometers (7.8 miles) to an area with marine fossils over 50 million years old, evidence of a time when this location was underwater.

We'll then ascend to a viewpoint at 1200 meters (4,000 feet) above sea level to appreciate views of the snowcapped peaks and valleys below. We'll enjoy a picnic lunch consisting of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a cereal bar, nuts, and water.

Finally, we'll return to Puerto Natales, arriving at your hotel by 6:30 pm.
