Sierra Baguales Hiking Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Natales at 7:30 am and set off towards the Sierra Baguales.

Upon arrival, we'll enjoy coffee and cookies before starting our hiking adventure. After breakfast, we'll take a half-hour walk to the Irene Lagoon, a lake where the Andean condor lives. Here, we will share information related to the colonization of Chilean Patagonia.

Afterwards, we'll board the bus to the starting point of the second hiking route through the Sierra Baguales. We will walk for 12.5 kilometers (7.8 miles) through the mountains to explore marine fossils over 50 million years old, remnants of an area that was once underwater.

Next, we'll ascend to a viewpoint located 1200 meters (4,000 feet) above sea level to appreciate views of the snowcapped peaks and valleys. While enjoying the scenery, we will have a picnic lunch consisting of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a cereal bar, nuts, and water.

Finally, we'll return to Puerto Natales, arriving at your hotel at 6:30 pm.
