Sierra Baguales Hiking Tour

We will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Natales at 7:30 am and depart towards the Sierra Baguales.

Upon arrival, we will have coffee and cookies before starting our hiking adventure. After breakfast, we will take a short half-hour walk to the Irene Lagoon, where Andean condors reside. Here, we will share information related to the colonization of Chilean Patagonia.

Next, we will board the bus to the starting point of the second part of the hiking route through Sierra Baguales. We will hike 12.5 kilometers (7.8 miles) through the mountains to an area with marine fossils over 50 million years old, evidence of its underwater past.

Afterward, we will ascend to a viewpoint located 1200 meters (4,000 feet) above sea level for views of the snowcapped peaks and valleys. While enjoying the scenery, we will have a picnic lunch consisting of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a cereal bar, nuts, and water.

Finally, we will return to Puerto Natales, arriving at your hotel at 6:30 pm.
