Torres del Paine Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Puerto Natales, then we'll head into the Torres del Paine National Park, following the shoreline of the Ultima Esperanza Sound inlet.

Along the way, we'll make a stop at Laguna Amarga, where you'll encounter one of the best views of the imposing Torres del Paine mountain range. If you visit on a clear day, you might even be lucky enough to see them reflected in the beautiful lake.

We'll continue by stopping at Nordenskjöld Lake to contemplate the famous Cordillera Paine mountains featuring the three distinctive Cuernos del Paine. The tallest mountain of the group, Paine Grande, reaches over 10,000 feet. Afterwards, we proceed to the spectacular Salto Grande waterfall which flows into Lake Pehoé.

Next, crossing the Serrano bridge, we arrive at Grey Lake, a glacial body of water located at the foot of Paine Grande. We'll stroll along the shore of the lake and, if the weather is fair, you'll enjoy spectacular views of the glacier from the viewpoint.

Before visiting the Mylodon Cave, we'll pass by some of the beautiful lakes of Chilean Patagonia - Sofia, Porteño, and Del Toro. Finally, we reach the Natural Monument which comprises three impressive caves. Here, you'll encounter South America’s most complete fossil remains of the Mylodon, a relative of the sloth family that went extinct at the end of the Ice Age.

Upon finishing the cave visit, we'll begin our return journey to Puerto Natales. During the trip, you will admire the three granite peaks that gave the national park its name, the Torres del Paine. The tour concludes back at your hotel, after approximately 10 hours together.
