Aletsch Arena is ideal for snow lovers, offering pleasant hikes, viewpoints, and the Great Aletsch Glacier. The Aletsch Explorer Pass allows for unlimited use of the cable cars at the ski resort for a full day. It is advisable to begin early to maximize the experience.

The cable cars connect all peaks of the ski resort and its hiking trails.

Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn Train

The Aletsch Explorer Pass also includes a ticket for the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGBahn), connecting Brig and Fürgangen. This service provides access to notable Aletsch villages such as Riederalp and Bettmeralp, and facilitates a walk from Moosfluh to Riederfurka, concluding at Villa Cassel, a 19th-century castle.

How does it work?

To use the Aletsch Explorer Pass, present your booking voucher at any Aletsch Bahnen AG ticket office to collect your passes:

Mörel to Riederalp (viewpoints Moosfluh and Hohfluh): Furkastrasse 29, 3983 Mörel-Filet.Betten Talstation towards Bettmeralp (Bettmerhorn viewpoint): Guldersand, 3993 Grengiols.Fiesch to Fiescheralp (Eggishorn viewpoint): Fieschertalstrasse 1, 3984 Fiesch. Note: This viewpoint will be closed from September 2024 until December 2025.

Opening times of the stations may vary seasonally, and not all viewpoints are open year-round. It is recommended to verify both before your visit.
