Ride the biggest waves in Portugal enjoying surf lessons in Nazaré. Learn to handle the board and practise surfing techniques with expert instructors in the Atlantic Ocean.

Nazaré Surf School

At your selected time, we'll meet at the surf school located on Avenida da Republica in Nazaré. This beach is known for its biggest waves in Portugal, making it an ideal place to learn how to surf.

After getting fitted with wetsuits and surfing equipment, we'll proceed to Nazaré's large beach. We will begin with warm-up exercises on the sand, followed by learning basic safety techniques for handling the surfboard.

We will then head to the water and wait for the perfect moment to catch one of Nazaré's famous waves. As you gain confidence on the surfboard, your skills will improve. Surfing requires patience, but once you grasp it, you will enjoy the experience.

At the end of the activity, which lasts an hour and a half, we will return to the surf school.

The surf class schedules may change based on the forecast and tides. Therefore, 24 hours prior to the activity, you need to call the phone number on your reservation voucher to confirm the exact time.
