World Heritage Monasteries Day Trip
Pickup will be from your hotel in Nazaré at the scheduled time, starting with the Alcobaça Monastery. This site, recognized as the first Gothic work in Portugal, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1989. You will have an hour and a half of free time to explore.
Next, we will proceed to Batalha to visit the Santa Maria da Vitória Monastery, an important architectural and historical location, classified among the Seven Wonders of Portugal. You will have one hour of free time to explore or eat in the area.
Finally, the tour will take us to Tomar for a visit to the Convent of Christ, situated within the Templar Castle, the third UNESCO World Heritage Site on our itinerary. After an hour of free time in Tomar, we will commence our return to Nazaré, arriving approximately 7 hours after departure.
