World Heritage Monasteries Day Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Nazaré at the scheduled time and set off for our first stop on the trip: the Alcobaça Monastery. Considered the first Gothic work in Portugal, it's been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1989. You'll have an hour and a half of free time to explore this building at your leisure.

Afterwards, we'll head to Batalha to visit the Santa Maria da Vitória Monastery, noted for its architectural and historical significance and recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. You will have an hour of free time to explore or get something to eat in the area.

Lastly, we'll make our way to Tomar to visit the Convent of Christ, located inside Templar Castle, which is the third UNESCO World Heritage Site on our trip. After enjoying an hour of free time in Tomar, we'll begin the return journey to Nazaré, arriving 7 hours after departure.
