Buggy and Sandboarding in the Usaka Desert
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Nazca and set off in a buggy to the Usaka desert.
Our first stop will be at the Ocongalla Aqueducts, constructed in a unique depth design and still in use today.
Next, we will visit the pyramids of Cahuachi, the ancient capital of the Nazca culture. You will take a brief tour of this ceremonial center and see a cemetery that has been the target of grave robbers, showcasing skeletal remains over 1,600 years old belonging to the Nazca culture.
Continuing in the buggy, we'll cross the dunes of Usaka, where you'll experience riding up and down these sand formations of the Peruvian desert.
We will then stop at the top of one of the Usaka dunes, where you will receive all the necessary materials for 1 hour of sandboarding. You will have the opportunity to glide over both small and large dunes.
The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in Nazca after a four-hour experience.
