Buggy and Sandboarding in the Usaka Desert
At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Nazca and set off in a buggy to the Usaka desert.
Our first stop will be at the Ocongalla Aqueducts, which were built in depth and are still in use today.
Next, we will visit the pyramids of Cahuachi, the ancient capital of the Nazca culture. This brief tour of the ceremonial center includes a cemetery that has been the target of grave robbers, where skeletal remains over 1,600 years old can be found.
We will then cross the dunes of Usaka, a notable natural location for riding up and down these sand formations in the Peruvian desert.
At the top of one of the Usaka dunes, you will receive all the necessary material to spend 1 hour sandboarding. You can glide on both small and large dunes during this unforgettable experience.
The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in Nazca after a four-hour excursion.
