Fancy a buggy tour in the Usaka desert? With this activity, you'll pass the ceremonial center of Cahuachi, visit a mysterious cemetery and go sandboarding - it'll be unforgettable!

Buggy and Sandboarding in the Usaka Desert

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Nazca and set off in a buggy to the spectacular Usaka desert.

Our first stop will be at the Ocongalla Aqueducts, constructed in depth and still in use today.

We will then visit the pyramids of Cahuachi, the ancient capital of the Nazca culture, for a brief tour of this ceremonial center and a cemetery known for being a target of grave robbers. Here, you will find skeletal remains over 1,600 years old belonging to the Nazca culture.

Next, we'll traverse the dunes of Usaka, a natural enclave where you'll ride up and down these sand formations.

We will stop at the top of one of the Usaka dunes to provide you with the necessary material for 1 hour of sandboarding. You will be able to glide with your boards over various dunes, ensuring an unforgettable experience.

We'll conclude the day with a return to your hotel in Nazca after a fantastic four-hour tour.
