Pampa Galeras Barbara D'Achille Trip
At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Nazca and travel along the Nazca - Cuzco interoceanic highway for two hours. On the way, you will admire the landscapes of the Peruvian Andes and Cerro Blanco, the highest dune in the world.
Upon arrival at Pampa Galeras Bárbara D'Achille, located at an altitude of more than 13,500 feet, we will see vicuñas and guanacos, camelids that live freely on this Andean plateau. We will learn about the characteristics of these animals, which are close relations of llamas and alpacas.
We will enter the museum of the reserve to learn about the wild fauna in this area of Peru. Information about the Vicuña Project and the efforts of the Andean people to protect this endangered species will also be shared.
Afterward, we will go outside to observe these animals closely and take photos. After an hour and a half exploring Pampa Galeras, we will return to the bus for the trip back to Nazca.
The tour will conclude at 2 pm.
