Pampa Galeras Barbara D'Achille Trip
At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Nazca and travel along the Nazca - Cuzco interoceanic highway for two hours. On the way, you will admire the landscapes of the Peruvian Andes and the Cerro Blanco, the highest dune in the world.
Upon arrival at Pampa Galeras Bárbara D'Achille, located at an altitude of more than 13,500 feet, we will begin to see vicuñas and guanacos, camelid species that live freely in this Andean plateau. We will learn about these animals, which are relatives of llamas and alpacas.
We will enter the museum of the reserve to learn about the wild fauna in this area of Peru. Information on the Vicuña Project and the efforts of the Andean people to protect this endangered species will also be provided.
Afterwards, we will return outside to observe the animals closely and capture them on camera. After an hour and a half exploring Pampa Galeras, we will return to the bus for our trip back to Nazca.
The tour concludes at 2 pm.
