Pampa Galeras Barbara D'Achille Trip
At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Nazca and travel along the Nazca - Cuzco interoceanic highway for two hours, admiring the landscapes of the Peruvian Andes and Cerro Blanco, the highest dune in the world.
Upon arrival at Pampa Galeras Bárbara D'Achille, located at an altitude of over 13,500 feet, we will begin to observe vicuñas and guanacos, which are species of camelids living freely on this Andean plateau. We will learn about their characteristics as they are closely related to llamas and alpacas.
We will enter the museum of the reserve to learn about the wild fauna in this area of Peru and discuss the Vicuña Project and the efforts made by the Andean people to protect this endangered species.
Finally, we will return outdoors to observe these animals closely and take photographs. After an hour and a half of exploring Pampa Galeras, we will return to the bus for our journey back to Nazca.
The tour will conclude at 2 pm.
