Pampa Galeras Barbara D'Achille Trip
At 8 am, pick-up from your hotel in Nazca begins, followed by a two-hour journey along the Nazca - Cuzco interoceanic highway, featuring views of the Peruvian Andes and Cerro Blanco, the highest dune in the world.
Upon arrival at Pampa Galeras Bárbara D'Achille, which sits at over 13,500 feet, you will see vicuñas and guanacos, species of camelids native to this Andean plateau. Information about these animals, related to llamas and alpacas, will be provided.
Visitors will enter the museum of the reserve to learn about the local fauna and the Vicuña Project, aimed at protecting this endangered species through efforts by the Andean people.
The tour includes a closer look at these animals for photography opportunities. After exploring Pampa Galeras for an hour and a half, the group will return to the bus for the trip back to Nazca.
The tour concludes at 2 pm.
