Private Colombo Day Trip
At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Negombo for a short journey of 40 minutes to Colombo.
The first stop will be at Beira Lake, followed by a visit to the Gangarama Temple, home to the smallest Buddha statue in the world. We will also explore the Sri Kailawasanathan Devasthanam Swami Kovil, known as the Hindu Temple of Colombo, notable for its sculptures.
Next, we will visit Independence Square, which commemorates Sri Lanka's independence from the British Empire in 1948. Nearby stands the Colombo Lotus Tower, a telecommunications structure that reaches 350 meters in height.
Our next stop will be the replica of the Aukana Buddha Statue, the tallest Buddha in the country. We will learn about its historical significance. To conclude, we will take a short walk through the bazaars.
The tour will return you to your hotel in Negombo by 3 pm.
