Your adventure begins at 7 am with a pickup from your hotel in Negombo, followed by a drive to Galle, a city steeped in history.

Initially, we'll explore the renowned Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back to the 16th century when the Portuguese constructed this fortress to safeguard one of the Indian Ocean's key ports during that era.

The journey will then take us to Galle's southern beaches, where we'll stop by a well-known turtle farm. Additionally, you will have the chance to view the adjacent coves, where locals engage in the unique practice of stilt fishing, a distinctive technique that originated right in this region of Sri Lanka.

After enjoying an hour of free time for lunch, we will visit the Tsunami Museum to learn about the devastating tidal wave that struck the Indian Ocean coastline on Christmas 2004. This catastrophic event has inspired films like The Impossible, directed by Spanish filmmaker Juan Antonio Bayona.

As we near the conclusion of our trip, we will visit a herb garden and the Moonstone Mine, reputed to possess stones from the moon.

We will wrap up the day by returning you to your hotel in Negombo, with an expected arrival time of 7 pm.
