This day excursion to the San Agustin Archaeological Park invites you to explore the remnants of an ancient civilization within one of Colombia's most intriguing locations.

Description

On the scheduled date, our team will pick you up from your Neiva hotel at the specified time, embarking on a journey to the San Agustin Archaeological Park. The transit, lasting approximately 5 hours, will take us through charming villages in the Huila department, including Campoalegre, Hobo, Gigante, Garzón, and Altamira.

Upon reaching the Archaeological Park, a guided tour will allow us to delve into the mysteries of this remarkable site nestled in the Colombian Andes. Here, we can discover more than 130 pre-Colombian statues, alongside tombs and ceremonial centers established in tribute to ancestors.

Additionally, we will visit the Archaeological Museum, where artifacts such as pottery and sculptures connected to fertility rituals await our observation.

Following our exploration, a stop at a local restaurant will provide the chance to enjoy a traditional lunch, before we begin our return journey to Neiva.

We will drop you off at your hotel, concluding this enriching 17-hour adventure.
