San Agustin Archaeological Park Day Trip

On this day trip to the San Agustin Archaeological Park, we'll follow the traces of a lost civilization in one of the most mysterious places in Colombia.

Description

On the day of the activity, we'll collect you from your hotel in Neiva at the indicated time and travel to the San Agustin Archaeological Park. The journey will last about 5 hours, passing through various villages in the department of Huila, including Campoalegre, Hobo, Gigante, Garzón, or Altamira.

Upon arrival at the Archaeological Park, we'll take a tour to uncover the secrets of this enigmatic site, which houses over 130 pre-Colombian statues, tombs, and ceremonial centers created to honor the memory of ancestors.

Additionally, we'll visit the Archaeological Museum to view pieces of pottery and sculptures that revered fertility.

After the tour, we'll have a traditional lunch at a restaurant before returning to Neiva.

We'll return you to your hotel after 17 hours of exploration.
