San Agustin Archaeological Park Day Trip

On this day trip to the San Agustin Archaeological Park, we'll follow the traces of a lost civilization in one of the most intriguing places in Colombia.

Description

On the day of the activity, we'll collect you from your hotel in Neiva at the indicated time and make our way to the San Agustin Archaeological Park. The journey will last about 5 hours, passing through various villages in the department of Huila, including Campoalegre, Hobo, Gigante, Garzón, and Altamira.

Upon arrival at the Archaeological Park, we'll take a tour to explore the site that houses over 130 pre-Colombian statues, tombs, and ceremonial centres honoring ancestors.

Additionally, we'll visit the Archaeological Museum to see pottery and sculptures related to fertility.

After the museum visit, we'll have a traditional lunch at a restaurant before returning to Neiva.

We will return you to your hotel after 17 hours of exploration.
