On this scenic night tour of Neiva, you'll admire all the iconic sites of the city from a comfortable vehicle. Plus, you'll take part in a folkloric dance class!

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin this scenic night tour. Neiva is known as the capital of the Magdalena River.

We'll drive on the Carrera 15 to admire the city's sports complex, which includes a stadium, coliseum, and Olympic pools. From here, we'll drive down the Carrera 21 until reaching Leesburg Park.

Next, we'll head to the city center to see its lit-up monuments as night falls, strolling through the nightlife area. We'll visit other green areas in Neiva, such as Niños Park and Caracolí Park.

We'll then reach the Malecón, where the Magdalena River is prominent. Here, we'll visit the Tower Mohán lookout for scenic views of the contrast between nature and the city.

Next, we'll see the Gaitana Monument, a tribute to an Indigenous heroine from the colonial era. After learning about her history, we'll stop at the train station, where two dancers will perform a traditional dance from Huila.

These dancers will teach us the basic steps of typical folkloric dances in Huila, including sanjuanero, bambuco, and rajaleña. After the class, you can choose to stay in the area or return to your accommodation, with the tour concluding after 5 hours.
