On this scenic night tour of Neiva, you'll admire all the iconic sites of the city from a comfortable vehicle. Plus, you'll take part in a folkloric dance class!

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin this exciting scenic night tour of Neiva. The city is known as the capital of the Magdalena River.

We'll drive on the Carrera 15 to admire the city's sports complex, including a stadium, coliseum, and Olympic pools. From here, we'll continue on Carrera 21 until we reach Leesburg Park.

Next, we'll visit the city center to see its lit-up monuments and stroll through the nightlife area. The tour includes stops at green spaces such as Niños Park and Caracolí Park.

We'll then arrive at the Malecón, where the Magdalena River is prominent. Here, we'll head to the Tower Mohán lookout for views of the contrast between nature and the city.

We will also see the Gaitana Monument, honoring an Indigenous woman celebrated during the colonial era. After learning about her history, we will stop at the train station for a traditional dance performance.

Dancers will teach us the basic steps of the folkloric dances in Huila, such as the sanjuanero, bambuco, and rajaleña. After learning the theory, we will practice our dances.

Once our dance class is finished, we will conclude the activity. You can choose to stay or return to your accommodation, after approximately 5 hours.
