After collecting you from your hotel in Nerja, we will head east along a road parallel to the Costa del Sol.

Our first stop is at a mango and avocado farm with views across the Mediterranean Sea. While enjoying the taste of the products, we will learn about the horticultural tradition of the province. Axarquia is Europe's leader in the production and commercialization of tropical fruit.

After learning about local agriculture, we will continue to Velez-Malaga, the capital of the Axarquia comarca, where we will go on a guided walk through the historic center of town.

Next, we will visit a nearby tropical fruit cooperative to explore the site and taste its products.

The final stop will be at a local restaurant for a traditional lunch, featuring a variety of locally cultivated fruit.

After lunch, we will take you back to your hotels in Nerja.
