Frigiliana is an enchanting location to visit during this trip from Nerja.

Tour Details

The tour begins with hotel pickup in Nerja, followed by a 20-minute drive to Frigiliana in the Axarquía region of Malaga. The town is part of the ‘Association of the Prettiest Towns in Spain.’ A guided walk will cover the old town center, highlighting its historical significance, especially the Mudejar neighborhood, which showcases architectural remnants from the Muslim period post-reconquest.

During the walk, you will notice Renaissance and Baroque monuments, including the Palace of Condes (El Ingenio) and the 17th-century church of San Antonio. After the guided portion, free time is provided for exploration.

The tour proceeds 5 miles north to El Acebuchal, also known as ‘the village of ghosts.’ Abandoned in 1948 due to civil unrest, it was restored in 1998. Here, a local lunch will be served, featuring a starter (salad or soup) and a daily main course.

After the meal, the tour concludes with transportation back to your hotel.
