Torrox and Cómpeta Day Trip

The white towns of Torrox, Competa, and Sayalonga are notable for their charm. Experience these municipalities of Malaga and sample their muscatel wines.

Day Trip Details

We will collect you from your hotel in Nerja and head west to Torrox, located 30 minutes away by road. During our guided tour of Torrox, we will explore its historic center, characterized by its al-Andalus era design and its significance in the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada.

Next, we will travel through the comarca of Axarquia to the ancient town of Competa. Known for its whitewashed buildings and wine traditions, we will visit a local bodega to learn about the winemaking process and taste various muscatel wines, which have even been served at the royal wedding of Felipe VI and Letizia Ortiz.

Our last stop will be Sayalonga, where we will enjoy a traditional local lunch. You will have the option to choose from two starters, two main courses, and two desserts, along with a refreshing drink.

Finally, we will return to the hotels from which we started.
