Join us on this small group tour of Lantau Island—we'll visit the Lantau Giant Buddha, the beautiful Tai O fishing village, and many other spectacular places. This is one of the most complete and recommended tours in Hong Kong!

Tour Details

After meeting up outside the Tung Chung Station, we'll travel by scenic cable car to Lantau Island. During the ride, we'll get views of the lush green surroundings and the Macao Bridge.

Once we arrive, we'll trek up 268 steps to visit the Giant Buddha, a large bronze statue completed in 1993 and located in the village of Ngong Ping. The statue is situated next to the Po Lin Monastery and symbolizes the harmonious relationship between man and nature. It is a major center of Buddhism in Hong Kong.

Then we'll head over to Tai O, a traditional fishing village where you can experience a way of life different from the bustling city. We'll admire the stilt houses and taste local snacks and drinks.

Finally, after a total of 6 hours, we'll end the tour back at the Tung Chung metro station, where you can continue exploring Hong Kong's outlets or return to your hotel. The guide will provide directions for the quickest and easiest way back.
