Description

From the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, you'll have panoramic views over the South China Sea, the Hong Kong international airport, and the indigenous forests of Lantau Island. The 25-minute cable car journey starts from Tung Chung, a historic fishing village that now features contemporary high-rises amidst greenery.

Setting off from Tung Chung, the gondola journey takes you through the hilly countryside of Ngong Ping, providing 360-degree views over the village, home to the Po Lin Monastery. This Buddhist complex includes the Tian Tan Buddha, or Big Buddha, which stands 112 feet (34 m) tall, making it one of the largest Buddha statues in China.

Throughout your trip, the area's rich tradition and nature will be revealed, showcasing why Ngong Ping 360 is a popular attraction.

Options

When making your reservation, you can choose between two options: the standard cabin and the crystal cabin, which features glass bottoms for panoramic views of the scenery.

Opening times

The cable car operates daily from 10 am to 6 pm. Please note that these times are subject to change.
