Why Ride Hong Kong's Ngong Ping 360

The Ngong Ping 360 cable car offers panoramic views over the South China Sea and Hong Kong international airport. The 25-minute journey begins at Tung Chung, a historic fishing village with contemporary high-rises. The gondola traverses the hilly countryside of Ngong Ping, providing 360-degree views, including Po Lin Monastery and the Tian Tan Buddha, a 112-foot (34 m) statue, one of the largest in China.

Ticket Options

Reservations can be made for the Ngong Ping 360 cable car with four options: one-way or round-trip, in either a standard cabin or a crystal cabin, which features a glass bottom for enhanced views.

Opening Hours

The cable car operates daily from 10 am to 6 pm, with times subject to change.
