Why Ride Hong Kong's Ngong Ping 360?

From the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, you'll have panoramic views over the South China Sea, the Hong Kong international airport, and the indigenous forests of Lantau Island. The 25-minute cable car journey starts from Tung Chung, a historic fishing village now featuring contemporary high-rises amidst greenery.

The gondola journey through the hilly countryside of Ngong Ping offers 360-degree views of the village, home to the Po Lin Monastery. This Buddhist complex hosts the Tian Tan Buddha, or Big Buddha, a statue of 112 feet (34 m), among the largest in China. The cable car provides views of this immense statue, showcasing the rich tradition and nature of the area, contributing to Ngong Ping 360's popularity as an attraction.
