Why Ride Hong Kong's Ngong Ping 360?
From the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, you'll have panoramic views over the South China Sea, Hong Kong international airport, and the indigenous forests of Lantau Island. The 25-minute cable car journey starts from Tung Chung, a historic fishing village now featuring contemporary high-rises among greenery.
The gondola will take you through the hilly countryside of Ngong Ping, offering 360-degree views over the village, where Po Lin Monastery is located. This Buddhist complex is home to the Tian Tan Buddha, one of the largest Buddha statues in China, standing at 112 feet (34 m).
Ticket Options
You can choose between four options for your trip on the Ngong Ping 360 cable car: one-way or round-trip, in either the standard cabin or the crystal cabin with a glass bottom for full panoramic views.
Opening Hours
The cable car is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm, subject to change. The cable car will be temporarily closed for maintenance from March 4 to 24, 2025. Ngong Ping Village and indoor attractions, including the cable car discovery centre and Motion 360, will remain open.

Reservation must be made in the name of the ticket user, as an identification document will be required at the entrance.
