Tour Description

The New York City Tour Bus is a convenient way to get around the city. The two-story, open-top buses are the perfect way to visit the main places of interest.

With a total of 18 stops, there are 2 routes to explore Midtown, Uptown, and Downtown, all connecting at Times Square. Sights include Chinatown, Wall Street, The Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, Madison Square Garden, Little Italy, and the Statue of Liberty.

Throughout the tour, you can access an audio guide in English about the places you visit.

Ticket Options

3-hour ticket: allows hop on and off for 3 consecutive hours from activation.Red Line 24-hour ticket: covers the Downtown tour.Red & Blue Line 48-hour ticket: includes the Downtown and Uptown tours.Red & Blue Line 72-hour ticket + Brooklyn tour: allows access to the Red Line, Blue Line, and a Brooklyn tour in English for 2 days.1-day ticket & Empire State Building ticket: includes sightseeing bus access and admission to the Empire State Building observation deck.

How it Works

The 24, 48 or 72-hour tickets are valid for the specified timeframe. For instance, a 24-hour ticket used for the first time on Monday at 11 am is valid until the same time the next day. During this period, you can hop on and off as often as desired.

The 1-day ticket is valid until midnight of the day it is first used. For the Empire State Building ticket option, after exchanging tickets, you must choose a time to enter the building.

Operating Hours & Frequency

Red Line (Downtown Tour): runs every 15 minutes from 9 am to 5 pm, with a total route duration of around 1.5 hours.Blue Line (Uptown Tour): runs every half hour from 10 am to 4 pm, with a total route duration also around 1.5 hours.
